Located near Glacier National Park in northwest Montana, Whitefish Mountain is a ski resort that boasts a vertical drop of over 717 meters and a plethora of terrain to satisfy any skill level. Whitefish is the most visited ski resort in the world, with over 1,214 ha (more than 3000 acres) of accessible terrain.

Skiers can use the Big Mountain Express lift to get from the village up to the summit. Weekends and holidays have shorter lines. Swift Creek Express, a weekend lift with a more apt name, is also available. Visitors can take a free shuttle bus between the village or base.
